DevOps and home infrastructure

I manage a home server that is currently running VMware vSphere with the following virtual machines:

• pfSense+ firewall (used as the edge device for my home internet)
• TrueNAS for NAS storage
• Windows 10
• Ubuntu Linux which is running the following:
  • HQPlayer music upsampling (sends music to a small PC over the network)
  • Nginx reverse proxy with web application firewall

I've also used Red Hat Linux and Arch Linux with KVM virtualization as well. My server hardware is a custom build with liquid-cooling, a Supermicro motherboard with ECC RAM, and an AMD Epyc 7302P CPU.
